PART 1
Mr. David: Hi Sarah, how can I help you?
Sarah: Hello Mr. David. I saw a poster for a new club, and I'm interested in joining. Could you tell me more about it, please?
Mr. David: Of course. Which one are you thinking of? The Arts and Crafts club?
Sarah: I thought that was the name, but the poster said something different.
Mr. David: Ah, you’re right. We used to call it that, but we wanted a more exciting name. It’s now called The (1) Creative Corner Club.
Sarah: Creative Corner Club. I like that! So, what activities do you do? I’m keen on DIY projects.
Mr. David: That’s great! We do many things, like painting and knitting, but the main focus for this term is on making (2) models. We’re planning to build a model of our school.
Sarah: Wow, that sounds cool! When does the club meet? Is it on Wednesday?
Mr. David: The sports club meets on Wednesday. We were thinking about Thursday, but in the end, we decided that (3) Friday afternoon works best for everyone.
Sarah: Friday. Perfect. And what time does it start?
Mr. David: Let me check the schedule. We start at… oh, wait, not 3:15, that was the old time. We start at (4) 3:30 p.m. and finish at 4:30 p.m.
Sarah: 3:30. Got it. And the last question, where does it meet?
Mr. David: We don’t meet in the main hall. You can find us in the (5) Art room, right next to the library. It’s much more spacious for our projects.
Sarah: The Art room. Thank you so much, Mr. David. I'll be there!
PART 2
Alex: Hey Jessica. You look tired. Is everything okay?
Jessica: Hi Alex. I’m just feeling a bit stressed.
Alex: Oh no. Is it pressure from your parents again?
Jessica: Not really. They’re fine. And it's not my club project either, that's almost done. It’s just this big (6) midterm exam in maths next week. I need a break.
Alex: I understand. Well, we should hang out this weekend. How about (7) playing some video games at my place?
Jessica: Hmm, thanks, but I’m not really into gaming. It doesn’t help me relax.
Alex: Okay, no problem. Or we could go to the cinema? There are some new films out.
Jessica: The cinema sounds good! What’s on? I saw an advert for a new action film.
Alex: There is, but you said you're stressed, so an action film might be too intense. How about the new (8) comedy film? It’s supposed to be hilarious. I don’t think you'd enjoy a documentary right now.
Jessica: You’re right. A comedy sounds perfect! I’d love that.
Alex: Great! So, how should we get there? I usually ride my bike, but it might rain.
Jessica: My dad could give us a ride in his car, but he’s working this weekend. Let’s just take the (9) bus. The number 12 stops right outside the cinema.
Alex: The bus it is. So, the film starts at 7:00 p.m. What time should we meet?
Jessica: Let’s see... If we meet at 6:30, we might be a bit too early.
Alex: True. How about (10) 6:45? That gives us 15 minutes to buy tickets and get some popcorn.
Jessica: 6:45 sounds like a plan. See you then
