Part 1
Jacob: Hi Emily! How was your weekend? Did you end up going to that new history museum?
Emily: Hi Jacob! No, I decided not to. I thought about staying in the city and going to the library, but in the end, I went to a craft village in the suburbs with my family. It was amazing!
Jacob: A craft village? Cool! What kind of handicrafts do they make there?
Emily: Well, the village next to it is famous for silk scarves, but this one is well-known for its pottery. They make everything by hand, from simple cups to huge vases.
Jacob: That sounds interesting. What was the best part?
Emily: The scenery on the way was nice, and I bought a lovely little vase. But what I enjoyed most was meeting the artisans. They were so friendly and passionate about their work.
Jacob: Did you get to try making anything?
Emily: Yes! I tried to make a small bowl. But I was so lost, I didn't know how to start. Luckily, one of the artisans saw me struggling and showed me the basic techniques. He was so patient.
Jacob: Wow, I'd love to try that. Maybe I'll go next weekend.
Emily: You should!
Jacob: Actually, before I go, I think I’ll find out more about it online. I want to see their opening hours.
Emily: Good idea. Let me know if you decide to go!
Part 2
Daniel: Hello?
Sophia: Hi Daniel, it's Sophia. Do you have a minute?
Daniel: Hey Sophia! Sure. You sound tired. Are you calling from the school library? Still studying?
Sophia: No, I'm at home. I wish I was at the library, but I'm just surrounded by a mountain of books here. I'm so stressed out about the big history exam on Friday.
Daniel: I know the one. But you've been studying for weeks!
Sophia: I know, but I feel like I'm not remembering anything.
Daniel: That’s because you're too stressed. The more you worry, the less you'll remember. You need to take a break.
Sophia: A break? But the exam is so soon!
Daniel: Trust me. If you get a good night's sleep, you can concentrate much better tomorrow. You shouldn't stay up late.
Sophia: I guess you're right. I'm just so anxious.
Daniel: How about we go for a run this weekend to clear your head? Some physical exercise might help.
Sophia: That sounds like a great idea! When are you free?
Daniel: Let's see... How about Saturday morning? Oh wait, no, I have to take care of my younger brother then. Is Sunday afternoon okay for you?
Sophia: Sunday afternoon works for me. Thanks, Daniel. I feel better already.
Daniel: No problem. See you on Sunday!
